Energising first meet and greet event

We were excited to hold our first public event at Pinnaroo Point Beach Park this morning. It was a great opportunity for people interested in Voices of Moore to meet others and hear about how they can get involved.

Kevin O'Keefe gave an informative Acknowledgement of Country and attendees talked about what motivated them to get involved in the community democracy process. There was a feeling of enthusiasm and excitement around what can be achieved when communities come together to shape democracy.

Some attendees have already taken part in a Kitchen Table Conversation, and others showed interest in attending or hosting one, as well as our upcoming event with Federal Independent MP for the neighbouring electorate of Curtin, Kate Chaney on Saturday 25 May 2024.

We plan to hold similar events in future, and would love to meet new people at our next meet and greet, scheduled for Saturday 8 June 2024.
